Liz Castro

Liz is an assurance senior manager in the Rocky Mountain region and manages a variety of financial statement audits of privately-owned companies, primarily in the construction and distribution industries. 

In her role with Plante Moran, Liz is known for offering practical advice, helping clients meet technical accounting requirements, and providing guidance to young staff. She has helped clients implement and understand new accounting pronouncements, including revenue and leasing standards.    

Community Involvement:
Liz is a member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).

Liz serves on the Audit Committee for the Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado. She was previously awarded the Associated Builders and Contractors Young Professional of the Year Award, as well as the President’s award for outstanding service to the Associated Builders and Contractor’s membership committee.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting, University of Denver.
