Construction Careers Now

Beginning in October 2022, CCN staff and the Colorado Education Foundation are positively transitioning from CCN to make way for several new certificate and apprenticeship programs.  They will aid and accelerate construction careers for workers looking to get ahead and drive more people into our industry. These new, innovative programs will be offered at the new Construction Education Foundation Training Center.  These new programs will include:

• 2-Year Rough Carpentry Apprenticeship
  • An accelerated apprenticeship to recruit, upskill and retain your workforce
  • Starting first quarter of 2023
  • In-person classes
• CEF Sustainable Building Certificate (50 Hours)
  • Teaches methods of creating and improving energy efficiency through plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more
  • Starting first quarter of 2023
  • In-person and virtual classes
  • No cost

CCN is a four-week, pre-apprenticeship program for adults offered Monday-Thursday evenings 5pm-8pm. Classes are tuition free for the participant and concludes with a hiring fair offering face-to-face interaction with contractors ready to hire – your start to a great career in construction.

PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM TO ENTER THE TRADES – NO COST TO STUDENTS – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Construction Careers Now! (CCN) is a proven four-week adult pre-apprenticeship program that concludes with a hiring fair – leading graduates to a great career.

• No cost to participant – industry sponsored tuition
  • Valued at $1,500 per participant
• In-person or virtual classes
  • In-person location: Adams City High School, 7200 Quebec Pkwy., Commerce City, CO 80022
  • Virtual classes – state wide
• Start your new career in 4-weeks!
  • 4-week session – 16 classes
  • Monday through Thursday, 5pm – 8pm
  • Attendance at each session is required
• No experience required 
• Includes Hiring Fair
  • Graduates meet face-to-face with industry contractors/companies representing a variety of trades and career paths. This is a tremendous opportunity to ask questions about the jobs available, company culture and benefits, and schedule a 2^nd interview with a company or companies and career paths you’re interested in.
